Rob Allen heavy duty 4mm float line
Rob Allen heavy duty 4mm float line is highly buoyant, has minimal residual stretch and drag, and is UV treated. Used to tie a speargun to a float as a retention system instead of a reel. This line has a tight weave which eliminates line braids from unraveling, and allows easy tying of tight knots that will not slip undone. Available in high visibility orange and olive colors, and varying lengths.
Speardiver tip
When choosing length of float line consider the maximum depth you plan to dive and add 20ft. As you descend the float will probably end up some distance behind you on the surface. The line will run on a diagonal rather than straight down requiring more length.
