Pair of Speardiver fins with polymer blades.

    Speardiver polymer blades features

    • Fit all standard foot pockets.
    • Blade length: 30" (76cm).
    • Total fin length (blade and foot pocket) approximately 36" (90cm) depending on foot pocket size.
    • Blade width: 8.27" (21cm).
    • 25º built in toe angle.
    • Water channeling rails for stabilization.
    • Built in foot pocket rails for easy installation of the blades in foot pockets. No gluing is needed.
    • Two stiffness levels:
    1. Medium (M) A light fast blade for all around diving.
    2. Medium hard (MH) A stiffer blade for divers who prefer a stronger kicking style.

    Foot pockets

Speardiver foot pockets meet the following criteria:

    • Modular fin system with blades easily replaceable using integrated rails. Such as in case of an upgrade to carbon blades.
    • A stiff sole for good energy transfer from leg to blade. You'll recognize a sole that's too soft if you feel pressure under your foot from the back edge of the blade with every kick.
    • Foot pocket tendons of moderates stiffness, providing good support for the blade without negatively affecting its flex characteristics, and channeling water down the blade.
    • A soft comfortable pocket.

    Blade installation

Modular freediving fin systems that don't require gluing, use the rail system for installing blades in the foot pockets. The foot pocket rails are different than water channeling rails. Water channeling rails are important for stabilizing the fin in the water and protecting the blade edges against impact, without adding unnecessary weight to the blade. We designed and manufactured the Speardiver foot pocket and compatible rails for use with carbon blades specifically for this task. In the case of polymer blades the foot pocket rails are built into the blades. Foot pocket rail shape is important for ease of installation of the blades in the foot pockets, and the holding power of the foot pocket tendons over the blade.  Read more about fin rails
