Speardiver Shark heavy duty open speargun muzzle with optional shark deterrent spike, incorporates all the most advanced features sought after by experienced spearfishermen. For aluminum and carbon speargun barrels with 26mm or 26.5mm inner diameter. The Speardiver Shark muzzle quickly elevates bands onto the plane of travel of the spear with the built in band channel thereby reducing recoil. Manufactured in extremely durable impact resistant composite material. Shooting line can be routed to the right or left side to suit left or right hand line release configuration. Front end of track is stepped to accommodate the shortest possible spear overhang, allowing the spear flopper to rest on the muzzle in closed position without raising the spear off the track. Robust bungee anchoring point/reel line guide/2nd wrap line guide are built in. Accepts 14mm, 16mm and 19mm bands. Two incorporated O-ring channels of different depths, to prevent water intrusion using one O-ring depending on tube inner diameter.

Tube insert peg diameter is 26mm with sacrificial stripes that increase the diameter to 26.5mm. These stripes can be easily cut or sanded off, allowing compatibility with 26mm and 26.5mm inner diameter aluminum and carbon speargun tubes. Muzzle material can be further filed or sanded reducing the peg diameter and/or track height, making it possible to fit many tube configurations. Stainless steel screw for installation is included.

The front end of the Speardiver Shark muzzle has a built in threaded hole. This hole accepts the optional threaded shark spike. The shark spike can be quickly and easily added or removed from the muzzle, partially by hand or all the way in for a tight fit with a wrench or pliers. After shooting a fish a diver is normally left vulnerable, with a spent speargun amounting to nothing more than a stick between them and an aggressive shark. With a sharp shark spike the shaft-less speargun becomes an effective self defense tool.
